New banner (for now)

Just downloaded a free image editing program in order to hopefully make some graphics and banners on here.

I went for roses because the championship game this year is the Rose Bowl, a facility I absolutely love and look forward to watching national games played in.

It's a little too USC-ish, but I can't think of another complimentary color to that dark red.  Has a McDonald's feel, in a way.  Suggest another color combination if you can come up with one.  I really want to retain the roses if possible.

I may take the camera and a football out this weekend and get more of the green/brown going, but as of right now I don't have anything like that on my computer to work with.

The sizing also looks a bit off.  Again, this is all brand new for me.  I've never really touched photoshop basically found myself a knockoff that has similar functions.  I'm making a lot of mistakes with it, but somehow managed to make the banner and well... there it is.

We like the rose--leave it. Shows you're comfortable in your masculinity.

Drop the color to shades of grey or similar to compliment the existing design, then you can amp up the red text color.

Thanks Kev, I'll give it a try behind the scenes! I was emailed a design that's pretty cool but its not really fitting size or scheme-wise. I may do some rotation up there to keep things fresh.
