Contributing to another revolution

We've talked extensively on here about the offensive revolution in CFB.

Well, another purpose of this site, aptly named CollegeFootballResource, is to aggregate a lot of college football news and information.  Difficult business, because links beget links beget links, but its a start.

Here's a good column by a smart man (caution: political partisan, not our objective on here but relevant to this discussion) and author of Blog, Hugh Hewitt, about the effects on regular media made by the internet and blogs.  He cites PowerLineBlogNews as an important aggregator, taking away from the monolithic dailies and big three networks.  There's also Real Clear Politics, and others in the news and political realm.

CFR is trying to fill some of that void for college football.  You'll notice more of that once the season starts.
