Nancy Clark Part III

Previous updates here and here.

This one's interesting.

Blogging Party of Canada blog has the usual disappointed reaction, then goes to work (in their words fact-checking) checking out recent stories by the journalist in dispute.

Hardball items like a story on a 74-year-old cyclist who loves the Tour De France and Catholic high school womens baseball dot the list of Ms. Clark's recent works.

As an aside I'm glad we're not digging into personal details, just what's relevant to the story here.  I encourage it to remain that way because her words say enough.  No digging for adoption records, please (abhorrant).

I'm anxious to see what becomes of the alleged EDSBS and FanBlogs requests for peace talks.  More updates are obviously coming, although we noted earlier this story's swiftly losing oxygen after echoing to the highest rafters of the blogosphere.

Alleged my ass! We talked to her this morning. Imagine a fine journalistic institution such as ours making things up...like, say, saying that Notre Dame fans are really clones of the Vatican's secret army. Not that we didn't really talk to her this morning.
