Speaking of Track

Found this story on the Track&Field News website: Florida State footballers helping ACC track title run.

Sophomore Kenny O'Neal and frosh Michael Ray Garvin and Antone Smith all compete for the FSU indoor track team, running the 60m races.

The article is a little cluttered, but here's the relevant information:

O'Neal-2005 All American 4x100m relay.  4th place 60m ACC meet.  Also runs 200m

Garvin-6th in the 60m ACC meet.  Ran 10.46 at 2005 Nike High School Championships (fast!).  Ran 21.98 in 200m in conference action.

Smith-Track newbie.  Fifth place 6.83 in 60m finals ACC meet.

I'm used to reading stories about Miami's dual-sport track guys (in particular the Moss brothers), so it's nice to see that Florida State is also getting in on the action.  That makes at least two ACC teams willing to let their football stars train and participate in track competitions for their schools.
