The WORST kind of blogger
Friday, March 3, 2006 at 05:20PM Michigan Blog The MZone, famous perhaps because it has a pulse, is out to highlight the best of the worst college football blogs. Nice.
Their first entry about the topic highlights one particular blog, College Football Fanatics. They have a sense of humor about the blog's hilarious self hype and then desertion, but it's certain to anger a link aggregator like myself. And yes, I stumbled upon that same blog once, and oh so badly waited for it to add just one more post as a sign of life and to justify me giving it a link. But it never happened. And now the boys at The MZone have highlighted an acute annoyance of mine.
Here's my suggestion for their next entry: the jerk who started this blog.
That guy or gal got a premium name on blogger (collegefootball.blogspot.com), posted for a few months and then disappeared. Argh. I thought about using that url when starting on blogger only to find out it was occupied by a long dead site. Argh. Delete your accounts, people!
I solved that dilemma by creating CFR and later purchasing my own address. The world is now a better place---hopefully.
Rant over.
