Can Someone Pick My Jaw Up Off The Floor?

Check out this blog entry for pictures from perhaps the greatest athletic department facility in the country---the Lindner Center.

No, it's not in Athens.  No it's not in Gainesville.  No it's not in Columbus.  No, it's not in South Bend.  It's certainly not in Los Angeles.

It's in Cincinnati.

Cincinnati!

Yes, it's part of the ongoing arms race between the various athletic departments.  It's amazing, at some of the country's finest schools, their AD facilities haven't changed in 30 years... but at middling Cincinnati, they have built a palace to cherish their somewhat rich athletic heritage.

Per the author:

The building is 8 stories, 235,000 square feet and second to none. Really. I've covered Alabama and Georgia, two pretty large athletic departments, and this thing is amazing.
