Under the Radar... Barely

I thought I'd pass along this interesting tidbit.

The other day I was talking to a friend in the recruiting business about the top-heavy class of high school quarterbacks this year.  They include Jimmy Clausen, who has committed to Notre Dame, Ryan Mallett (Michigan), Mike Paulus (North Carolina) and John Brantley (Texas).

However, the prospect that most stood out to him was Clemson commit Willy Korn.  Korn is certainly a big name this year and is among the nation's top recruits, but he's been a bit under the radar because of his very early commitment (8/1/2005), the fact that his commitment was to Clemson and not a bigger power, and the megawatt recruitment of Jimmy Clausen that has overshadowed every other high school prospect in this year's recruiting class.

Anyway, Korn's someone to keep an eye on.  My friend was certainly excited about him when we talked recently.

I would like some information on signing a commitment to a college and then changing you mimd. What are the penalties for that?
