NCAA Odds and Ends

---Arkansas likes itself some trick plays, I reckon

---Wake Forest: unbeaten

---Indiana coach Terry Hoeppner, staying alive

---Florida State cornerback Tony Carter is out for a few weeks after spraining his knee.  This is on top of the season-ending injury to frosh linebacker Marcus Ball who tore a ligament in his knee.

---Ohio Stadium gets new grass.  Approximate cost: $75,000-$100,000.  I think the Buckeyes can afford it...

---Connecticut is switching quarterbacks, going with Matt Bonislawski after incumbent D.J. Hernandez played poorly.

---Kregg Lumpkin is now Georgia's starting tailback... but still part of a committee.

---Fresno State has lost its leading wide receiver for the season---and possibly his career---to a torn ACL.

---Finally, a parrot sings Yea Alabama (H/T: SiOnCampus)

Is Georgia ever going to just settle with a single player for some of these positions? Seems like they had the 2-headed QB for 10 years, and now this RB by committee for 3.
