Could Get Interesting

Here's the radar I'm staring at:

4-14-Radar.jpg
Fun...

Weather radar's so mesmerizing.  I grew up near Chicago and WGN's Tom Skilling pretty much had the best radar stuff anywhere.  He used it to horrible effect frightening my young mind with all those tornado warning boxes.  It was best to respect them however, as multiple twisters absolutely tore through the quiet suburb of Plainfield one year.  What was a booming-suburbs-meets-cornfields area turned into a complete war zone in just a few hours and the overhead "after" images on television are well imprinted in my memory.

Hopefully this is just wind and rain but those red boxes always wake me up a little.

Update: wind and rain and nothing more though Texas got it bad yesterday.

Hey it was 80 here last week - for a day. Then it got cold. And just stayed there.

And no I'm not bitter. Nope. Nu-huh.

Three sheets was lame this week so double scoops of sadness. They went to Venice and didn't do anything fun.

Venice sucks. Give me Brussels 7 days a week and i'm a happy man.
